He began studying the clarinet under the guidance of his father Giuseppe until obtaining a degree at. the Conservatory “A. Corelli ”of Messina in 2004. In 2007 he obtained the master's degree in Clarinet with full marks at the Conservatory “A. Corelli ”of Messina under the guidance of prof. Carmelo Crisafulli. In 2009 he obtained the master's degree for the training of musical instrument teachers at the Conservatory "C. Monteverdi ”of Cremona.

Over the years he perfected his study of the clarinet under the guidance of illustrious musicians of the international music scenes such as Calogero Palermo (First Clarinet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Corrado Giuffredi (First Clarinet of the Italian Swiss Orchestra), Enrico Maria Baroni (First Clarinet of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra), Anton Dressler, Luigi Magistrelli (“G. Verdi” Conservatory of Milan), Vincenzo Paci (Principal clarinet of the “La Fenice” Theater Orchestra of Venice). As an instrumentalist he has obtained numerous awards in national and international competitions, he was eligible for auditions as First clarinet and Eb clarinet at the most important national opera and symphonic orchestras. He has to his credit numerous chamber music and solo concerts; he frequently collaborates with important orchestral formations, in 2008 he was First Clarinet Soloist at the Philharmonic of the Veneto on the occasion of the representation of the works Rigoletto, Traviata and The opera of nursery rhymes in collaboration with the "La Fenice" theater in Venice.

Alongside his activity as an instrumentalist for many years he has been a composer and arranger for wind orchestra, obtaining numerous awards in national and international composition competitions; his works are published by Eufonia Musical Edition and Mulph Music Publisher and included in the Lorenzo Della Fonte Master Collection series.

Since 2014 he has undertaken the study of Composition for Band under the guidance of maestro Carmelo Chillemi and of the Direction under the guidance of maestro Lorenzo Della Fonte.

In 2020 he obtained the master's degree in Composition and Conducting for the Wind Orchestra at the Conservatory “A. Corelli ”of Messina with full marks, honors and honorable mention.

In May 2019 he was the only Italian to pass the selection for participation in the International Competition for Wind Orchestra Conductors held at the Deutsches Musikfest in Osnabruck (Germany).

He currently holds the chair of Clarinet and Ensemble Music for Wind Instruments at the High School of Music “G. Verga "of Modica, is also responsible for the POF Orchestra G. Verga project promoted by the Institute, as director of the orchestral formations of the Liceo Musicale Verga (Symphony Orchestra and Wind Orchestra) has to his credit numerous concerts included in the musical seasons of Ibla Classica International and the Garibaldi Theater Foundation of Modica, with the Wind Orchestra of the Liceo Musicale has also obtained numerous awards in national and international competitions, most recently the First Prize at the National Competition La Bacchetta d'Oro held in Frosinone.
